Okay, so she's an investigator for a law firm rather than in a private capacity but, in this particular case, I'm prepared to make an exception.
And it's not those smouldering eyes, the misandry (even misanthropy), or the short skirts and boots.
Although they help.
No, it's the kick-arse, take-no-prisoner, attitude coupled with her (apparently) healthy disregard for the law. Quite frankly, I don't know how she gets away doing what she does, particularly as far as her employers are concerned.
Perhaps results are all that matters at Lockheart/Gardiner?
More importantly, do jobs like that really exist?
Anyway, she's strong, exotic, dangerous, and even more than a little mysterious. If she weren't in the role of the Investigator, she might very well be the Femme Fatale.
Okay, so we've established that I'm a bit of a fan of The Good Wife and Kalinda is my favourite character on the show. It would be nice to see some more Kalinda-oriented storylines but since she's really only a supporting character, it's unlikely.

She was the reason I started to watch that show. One of the only decent shows on TV at the moment.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Totally.
