Well, Dear Reader, I bet that you thought you'd have heard the last regarding FOTLer Matt 'of the House of' Thompson - as did I - but it appears we were both wrong.

He has recently made the pages of our Daily Rag - the Court section no less.

Oh dear.

Could we really have expected anything less from Matt, though?

So what back-country shennanigans has he been up to now?

Update on Seeking Albert

Good news, Dear Reader, as I am sure you were waiting with bated breath for developments in my search for Albert.

Well, wonder no more. Albert has been located.

And it appears that he had more than just the one active warrant for his arrest.

So, how did it go down?

Where are they now? Mr Patton

A few years ago I introduced you to a local rogue: Bernie Patton.*

For some time, his name kept coming up on the periphery of a disproportionate number of claims investigations. Vehicles he had sold from his unlicenced car dealership had a disturbing tendency to be later stolen.

However, Patton is the proverbial cat with more-than-statistically-probable lives and he always was able to play the system and minimise his involvement. His policy of deny, deny, deny has always served him well.

Until now, hopefully.

Where Are They Now? The Hapless Mr Meringue

Well, it may be a little mean-spirited to compare Mr Meringue to the now much maligned Jimmy Savile but the two may have more in common than is considered healthy.

Or decent.

After closing off that previous investigation, I had put Mr Meringue out of my mind but then he recently made a return appearance.

Luckily, I have a memory like something that remembers a lot.

No doubt I'll be accused of exhibiting Tall Poppy Syndrome in the face of success by others but self-aggrandisement, particularly by certain types of people, really annoys the fuck out of me.
