Yes, that's right.
The other day I realised that I am Rene Russo as depicted in the 1999 remake of The Thomas Crown Affair (which is, in my opinion, a superior film to the 1968 original).
Russo played Catherine Banning, an insurance investigator assisting the NYPD in solving the heist of a $100m painting from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
See the similarities?
Okay, so while I'm not a sexy mature redhead, I have been getting a bunch more insurance investigation files recently.
But, admittedly, none of them are remotely concerned with stolen art, neither do I get a percentage of the value of the goods as reward should I close the case, nor am I even pitted against criminal masterminds.
Other than that, it's a perfect match!
Art imitating life.
