I may run the risk of courting some controversy, Dear Reader, but I thought I might engender a discussion on a topic that tends to invite commentary aimed at stifling debate.
Debate, you see, only continues the culture of blaming the victim. Or so I have been told.

More Late-Night Ideas...
Whenever I get depressed, which is less often than you probably assume, I try to think up some clever scheme which, if successful, would revolutionise the way I do business.
Or at least that's what I keep telling myself.
Call me an idealist at heart, but keeping in line with my 2013 experiment of "Pay What You Think The Job Is Worth" comes this great(?) idea of institutionalising fairness in billing practices.

So, more of the same it is!
Heard back today in regards to my recent job application. It seems I was not quite the droid they were looking for.
Not entirely sure whether I should be relieved or disappointed so I'll err on side of caution and take it as a personal affront.
Wankers!
But I'm not one to hold a grudge...

A new chapter or just more of the same?
I've been keeping secrets from you, Dear Reader. Perhaps my time as a plucky but downtrodden Private Investigator is coming to a close.
You see, I have applied for an investigative position with a certain governmental agency (that shall remain unnamed) and I have made the short list. One of three.
It's not all beer and skittles, however. There is still the question of whether I make it to the very-short-list-of-two and score a trip to this nation's capital for a personal interview with the Chief.
And so far the silence has been deafening.
But what will this all mean?
